David Zalkaliani has met with Director of the Heritage Foundation Center for Foreign Policy Luke Coffey

17.06.2019, Tbilisi – Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani met with Director of the Heritage Foundation Center for Foreign Policy Luke Coffey.

Discussions dealt with the priority areas of Georgia-U.S. strategic partnership, with special focus on the importance of the U.S. support for the strengthening of Georgia’s security and defence capabilities, as well as for NATO integration.

Highlighting the positive dynamics of U.S.-Georgia cooperation on economic, trade and investment issues, Zalkaliani positively appraised the Georgian Prime Minister’s visit to the U.S.
 
The Minister emphasized Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic integration progress and the increasing level of practical cooperation with the U.S.    

David Zalkaliani and the American expert exchanged views over the situation in the occupied territories and the region. They highlighted the importance of more active engagement of U.S. non-governmental organizations and expert communities on issues on the U.S.-Georgia agenda.
