On the 15th of April 2014 in the village of Adzvi (Gori district), Russian occupation troops detained three employees of the ‘TV3' channel: Ms Bela Zakaidze, a reporter; Mr Vakhtang Lekiashvili, her cameraman; and Mr Mikheil Mikhoev, a broadcast technician.

On the 14th and 15th of April 2014, the Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister, Ms Tamar Beruchashvili paid a visit to Prague to hold the bilateral political consultations between the Georgian and Czech Foreign Ministries. The Czech delegation was headed by the First Deputy Minister, Mr Petr Drulák.

From the 10th to the 12th of April 2014 the Georgian Foreign Minister, Ms Maia Panjikidze held a visit to the Federal Republic of Germany. The Georgian Foreign Minister held meetings with the German Federal Chancellor's Advisor on Foreign and Security Policy, Mr Christoph Heusgen, the Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the Bundestag's Foreign Affairs, Mr Norbert Röttgen, and the future head of the Parliamentary Cooperation Group with South Caucasus.
