On the 26th of June 2012, the Georgian Ambassador to the United States of Mexico, Mr. Malkhaz Mikeladze, presented his credentials to the President of the Panamanian Republic, Mr. Ricardo Martinelli.

Commemorating the twentieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Georgia and Romania, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia expresses its satisfaction over the development of close friendly relations between the two countries, high level of cooperation on bilateral issues and within international organizations.

On 26 June 2012, the 20th Anniversary Summit of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC) Heads of State or Government, co-chaired by the Republic of Turkey and Republic of Serbia was held in Istanbul. Georgian delegation was headed by the President of Georgia, Mr. Mikheil Saakashvili.
