The Georgian Foreign Ministry wishes to express its deep sorrow over the heavy casualties caused by the powerful flooding that hit the region of Krasnodar in the Russian Federation and to convey its condolences to the families of those who were injured or who lost their lives to the disaster.

On the 6th and 7th of July 2012, the 7th Croatia Summit on "State Building and the EU Experience" was held in Dubrovnik. The Summit was attended by the Prime Ministers and Foreign Ministers of European, South American and Mediterranean states; by the NATO Secretary General, Mr. Anders Fogh Rasmussen; and by high-ranking EU officials. Among its participants were also think-tanks representatives.
