Tornike GordadzeTornike Gordadze was born on 10 November 1975 in Kutaisi.

1992 - Graduated from the Georges Clemenceau Lyceum in Nantes, France.

1996 - Graduated from the Institute of Political Sciences in Bordeaux, France, specializing in political and social sciences.

1997 - Earned Master's degree in political sciences at the Institute of Political Sciences in Paris, France (Sciences Po), laureate of magistracy.

2005 - Defended a Doctoral thesis in political sciences at the Institute of Political Sciences in Paris, France.

Author of 44 research works and articles published in various European and US research revues.

From 2000 to date - Lecturer at the Institute of Political Sciences in Paris, France in Political Sociology, Ethnicity and Nationalism, Modern history of the Caucasus and Central Asia.

2002-2003 - Visiting researcher at the Yale University (New Heaven, USA), at Yale Center of International and Area Studies.

2004-2005 - consultant on Caucasus issues at the Analysis and Prevention Centre under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France.

October, 2006 to July, 2010 - Director of Caucasus Studies Centre under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France; Director of the Caucasus Observatory at the French Institute of Anatolian Studies (Paris-Istanbul-Baku).

Tornike Gordadze speaks French, English, Russian and Turkish languages.
