Diplomatic relations between Georgia and Cyprus were established on 9 July 1993.

Fields of Cooperation

• Regular bilateral and multilateral political dialogues.
• Georgia is especially interested in benefiting from Cyprus experience in the European Union's integration process as well as in the conflict resolution process.
• Each year Georgia receives educational training programs from Cyprus for the development of small and medium enterprises, tourism and the financing of cultural heritage.
