Chronology of Diplomatic Relations

Georgia has no diplomatic relations with the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. In spite of this, Georgia, cooperates with the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia in the multilateral format, and uses the internationally recognized name in the UN - Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia - FYROM.

Note: In 1993 the FYROM became a member of the UN with the temporary name "The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia: until the name dispute with Greece is resolved.
