

Chronology of Diplomatic Relations
Diplomatic relations between Georgia and the Federation of Malaysia were established 7 May 1993.
Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Federation of the Federation of Malaysia in Georgia:
Yahya Baba (1996-2002) with residence in Moscow;
Kamarudin Bin Mustafa (2002-2005), with residence in Moscow;
Mohamad Khalis Bin Ali Hassan (2005-2010) with residence in Moscow;
Abdullah Sani Omar, Ambassador designate (29 April 2010 - 21 January 2011) with residence in Kiev;
Chuah Teong Ban (from 20 October 2011 to date) with residence in Kiev.
Fields of Cooperation:
Cooperation within the framework of the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP).
