Fields of co-operation:
Poland univocally supports Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty within Georgia's internationally recognized borders. Georgia and Poland have developed close cooperation in number of fields of mutual interest, especially in regional development. Poland, as one of the initiator of Eastern Partnership, supports Georgia's European aspirations and expresses readiness to share its successful experience of Euro-Atlantic integration.
Georgia and Poland cooperate under the Development Cooperation Program, which implies implementation of joint projects in the following areas: support for socially marginalized groups; regional development; SMEs and job creation. For 2011 - 2013 the funding for the projects was amounted - 4,038,363 euro.
In order to foster economic cooperation governments of Poland and Georgia have established bilateral economic inter-governmental commission in 2009.
