22 April 1997 - Official visit of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Askar Akayev to Georgia.

 

Legal Framework

Georgia and Kyrgyzstan have signed 15 agreements, among them:

  • Friendship and Cooperation Agreement between the Georgia and the Kyrgyz Republic;
  • Trade and Economic Cooperation Agreement between the Government of Georgia and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic;
  • Agreement between the Government of Georgia and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic for the Promotion and Reciprocal Protection of Investments;
  • Air Transport Agreement between the Government of Georgia and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
