The first round of political consultations between Georgia and the Republic of Kenya was held, led on the Georgian side by Alexander Khvtisiashvili, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and on the Kenyan side by Abraham Korir Sing’Oei, Principal Secretary of Foreign Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs.

The Deputy Prime Minister,  Minister for Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, participated in the Raisina Middle East conference held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The conference was organised by the foreign ministries of the United Arab Emirates and India, in cooperation with the Observer Research Foundation, a policy research think tank.

The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, met with the Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India, Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, on the sidelines of the Raisina Middle East international conference in Abu Dhabi.

The Minister delivered remarks at a panel discussion entitled “Resilience, Partnerships and the Road Ahead: The Gulf's Strategic Future”.

On 14 and 15 October 2026, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, will visit the United Arab Emirates to participate in the Raisina Middle East Conference, organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates and the Ministry of External Affairs of India, together with the Observer Research Foundation, a public policy think tank.
