On 14 May 2025, within the framework of the Council of Europe Ministerial Session held in Luxembourg, Georgia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, met with Sabine Monauni, Deputy Prime Minister of the Principality of Liechtenstein and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Environmental Protection, and Culture.
The ministers discussed the friendly bilateral relations between Georgia and Liechtenstein and their cooperation in multilateral formats, including within the Council of Europe.
They emphasized the considerable potential for expanding cooperation in various fields and exchanged views on global and regional security challenges.
Minister Botchorishvili briefed her counterpart on the situation in Georgia’s occupied territories and underscored the importance of maintaining the issue of occupation as a priority on the Council of Europe's high-level agenda.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Maka Botchorishvili extended an invitation to the Deputy Prime Minister to visit Georgia at a time of her convenience.
