Maka Botchorishvili has met with Georgian Community in New York

As part of her visit to New York, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, held a meeting with members of the Georgian community residing in the city.

The discussion highlighted the vital role of the Georgian diaspora in preserving national and cultural identity abroad, promoting Georgia internationally, and strengthening the country’s positive image. It was emphasized that fostering close ties with the diaspora remains a key priority for both the Georgian government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which continues to implement various initiatives in this regard.

Minister Botchorishvili also addressed Georgia’s foreign policy priorities, the challenges facing the country, and the government’s ongoing efforts to maintain peace and stability.

The meeting concluded with a Q&A session, during which the Minister engaged directly with members of the diaspora. The event was hosted at the Consulate General of Georgia in New York.
