On 5 June 2026, a meeting was held between Alexander Khvtisiashvili, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, and Zhou Qian, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the positive dynamics in Georgia-China relations and explored additional opportunities for deepening cooperation across various fields. They also emphasized the importance of reciprocal high-level visits.
The discussion further focused on ongoing regional and global developments, as well as on related challenges.
