George  Zurabashvili holds an introductory meeting with the Ambassador-designate of the Federal Republic of Germany

On 30 September 2026, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, George  Zurabashvili held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador-designate of the Federal Republic of Germany, Barbara Voss.

The sides discussed current issues in Georgia-Germany relations and prospects for future cooperation, both in bilateral and multilateral formats.

Particular attention was paid to Georgia-EU relations.

The First Deputy Minister thanked the German side for its support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The sides exchanged views on ongoing developments and challenges in the region.

George Zurabashvili wished the Ambassador every success in her future endeavours.
