Ilia Darchiashvili has met with his Mongolian counterpart 

On 20 September 2023, within the framework of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ilia Darchiashvili, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Battsetseg Batmunkh.
 
The ministers expressed their willingness to activate cooperation between the countries in trade and economic, tourism, agriculture and other areas. Ilia Darchiashvili informed his colleague about the economic potential and business opportunities of Georgia.

Particular attention was paid to the country's transit potential, the minister invited the Mongolian delegation to participate in the Silk Road Forum.
 
At the meeting, attention was also focused on the active agenda of Georgia's cooperation with the Central Asian countries.

Ilia Darchiashvili invited his colleague to visit Georgia.
