The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, George Zurabashvili, held a meeting with Krisztián Mészáros, State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary.
The discussion focused on prospects for the further development of close bilateral and multilateral relations between the two countries. The importance of deepening high-level dialogue and making effective use of existing cooperation formats was underscored.
Particular attention was paid to Georgia-Hungary cooperation in the area of connectivity, with an emphasis on the development of the Green Energy Corridor.
Georgia-European Union relations were also discussed. Krisztián Mészáros reaffirmed Hungary’s support for Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
