Maka Botchorishvili Meets with UN Tourism Secretary-General Shaikha Nasser Al Nuwais

On 17 September 2026, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili held a meeting with the Secretary-General of UN Tourism, Shaikha Nasser Al Nuwais, who is paying her first official visit to Georgia.

The sides discussed current issues of cooperation between Georgia and UN Tourism, as well as prospects for further cooperation. Particular emphasis was placed on Georgia’s distinctive tourism potential.

During the meeting, attention was also focused on the importance of projects and initiatives implemented by the organization in Georgia.
