Ambassador of Georgia to the Swiss Confederation has Presented His Letters of Credence to the President of Switzerland

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Swiss Confederation, Shota Gvetsadze, presented his Letters of Credence to Her Excellency Karin Keller-Sutter, President of the Swiss Confederation.

Following the official credential presentation ceremony held at the Federal Palace, a meeting was held between the President and the Ambassador. The discussion focused on the existing cooperation between Georgia and Switzerland, both in bilateral and multilateral formats.

Ambassador Gvetsadze expressed his gratitude to the President for Switzerland’s steadfast support of Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, and highlighted the important role Switzerland plays in mediation efforts.

The conversation also addressed Georgia’s strategic location and geopolitical significance, with particular emphasis placed on major economic projects currently underway in the country, along with other key issues of mutual interest.
