Maka Botchorishvili meets with the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi

On 25 September 2026, as part of her visit to New York, Georgia’s Deputy Prime Minister,  Minister for Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, held a meeting with Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

The sides focused on prospects for the further development of relations between Georgia and the Gulf Cooperation Council. Particular attention was paid to Georgia’s growing relations with the Gulf countries and opportunities for deepening cooperation in various areas.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia invited the GCC Secretary-General to visit Georgia.
