On 2 May 2025, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Aleksandre Khvtisiashvili, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Georgia, Malik Murzalin.
The unauthorized flight conducted by a Russian airline on 1 May 2025, to the occupied region of Abkhazia, as well as the so-called agreement signed with the occupation regime concerning the transfer and exploitation of Sukhumi Airport by Russia, constitute a flagrant violation of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, the Law of Georgia on Occupied Territories, and fundamental principles and norms of international law, including the Charter of the United Nations and the Convention of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), to which both Georgia and the Russian Federation are parties.
On 1 May 2025, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Turkey, Archil Kalandia, presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

On 30 April 2025, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Kingdom of Spain, Aleksandre Chkuaseli, presented his Credence to His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain. The official credential presentation ceremony was held at the Royal Palace of Spain.
On 30 April 2025, the 1527th meeting of the Committee of Ministers’ Deputies of the Council of Europe reviewed the 31st Consolidated Report of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe entitled “The Conflict in Georgia.” The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Lasha Darsalia, participated in the meeting.
