First Meeting of the Political and Security Committee Held within the Framework of the Georgia-Saudi Arabia Coordination Council 

The first meeting of the Political and Security Committee was held within the framework of the Georgia-Saudi Arabia Coordination Council, co-chaired by Alexander Khvtisiashvili, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and Saud bin Mohammed Al-Sati, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The meeting was held remotely.

The meeting focused on the key areas of Georgia-Saudi Arabia relations. Discussions covered  cooperation in the areas of politics and security, as well as on initiatives and ways to implement them.

The sides also discussed ongoing developments in the regions.
