Teimuraz Janjalia’s meetings in The Hague 

Within the framework of his working visit to The Hague, on 4 December 2023, The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Teimuraz Janjalia, held meetings with the Director General of European Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Anita van den Ende, the Special Advisor to the Prime Minister on European Union Affairs, Said Fazili, and a member of the Lower House of the Netherlands, with Ruben Brakelmans.

The main topic of the meetings was the progress on implementation of the European Commission’s recommendations by Georgia and the positive decision of the European Commission to grant a candidate status to Georgia.

Teimuraz Janjalia also met with civil society representatives to discuss "Georgia’s European integration in its decisive phase". Experts of the Clingendael Institute, the professor of the Free University of Amsterdam and the head of the organization "Caucasus Interconnect", Françoise Companjen, took part in the discussions.
