Within the framework of the OSCE ministerial meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Ilia Darchiashvili, met with his Hungarian counterpart, Péter Szijjártó.

The ministers reviewed the issues of cooperation between the two countries.

Special attention was focused on the European Commission’s recommendation to grant Georgia a candidate status, as well as on the process of Georgia's implementation of the European Commission’s  recommendations.

The Hungarian side reaffirmed its strong support for Georgia's EU integration path.

The ministers also reviewed issues relating to cooperation in international formats, including within the framework of the OSCE.
